Updated Engagement Gallery

Today we updated our Engagement Portfolio Gallery.  It was great to go back and look at all the photographs.  We decided to highlight some of our favorite engagement shoots in our new gallery.  We are blessed to work with such awesome couples.

Jill and Scott's Engagement

On Sunday we went to Mahoney State Park to take Jill and Scott's engagement photographs.  The summer evening was beautiful and the sunset turned out to be spectacular.  The genuine love between Jill and Scott made the evening memorable.  Sally and Wags were a great addition to the shoot as they provided much entertainment and personality.  We know that their wedding this fall will be a perfect expression of their love. 

Kristina and Matt's Engagement Photographs

We met up with Kristina and Mat in Omaha's downtown Old Market for ice cream before the shoot. Ted and Wally's is a great place! You should check it out (I am not endorsed by them, so this isn't an advertisement, but it is delicious ;) ).

After ice cream the soft gray skies illuminated the couple's laughter, love and rival banter (Kristina is a Michigan fan, and Matt loves Memphis). We quickly realized that Matt and Kristina are the type of people whom you instantly feel like friends with.

Their relaxed personalities and love for each other showed in every photograph. We look forward to spending more time with them and await with expectation for thier wedding day.

Trisha and Jordan's Engagement

On a warm sunday afternoon we met Trisha and Jordan at Pioneer's Park for their engagement photos. 

The long summer grasses swayed light heartedly in the breeze as golden sunlight fell from the blue skies. From the cool shade of the trees to the releasing of the colorful balloons, Trisha and Jordan's engagement photos were just plain fun!

Everything about their love for each other was full of life and joy. Their spark kindled fond memories of summer afternoons full of laughter in our own hearts. 

It was our pleasure to be able to work with them. 

Chelsea and Evan's Engagement

The downtown Fremont shops were closing for the day, and the hot evening sun was sinking low in the horizon.  The almost deserted sidewalks and streets gave the perfect backdrop for the first location of Chelsea and Evan's engagement photos. 

For the second and third locations we went to a park, and a grassy field, laced with flowers.  As we shot their photos, their love became transparent as they shared secret kisses, romantic whispers and silly smiles.  Their connection was apparent to us, and a delight for us to capture. We are looking forward to their wedding in the fall!

Joe & Vanessa

The warm fall November day in Omaha was perfect for engagement pictures of Joe and Vanessa. The fall reds, yellows, browns and oranges were still clinging to the leaves in the trees. Joe and Vanessa’s love for each other and friendly personalities made this photo shoot flow naturally, which comfortably created some of our very favorite engagement photos. We could not have asked for a better day or clients to work with. 

The Old Market in downtown Omaha was a perfect place for this late fall afternoon.  It was a perfect day for photos!
